Where are the parrots headed? To the fence, the roof, or the clothes
line? In 'Mach die Flatter', the cheeky birds move so quickly that it's
difficult to keep track of them. In this game for 2-5 players aged 6 and
up, the players must attempt to land their parrots in the best spots
while keeping an eye on where their opponents' birds are headed.
With each turn, the situation becomes ever more chaotic as the parrots
fly between different landing spots. The players must aim to keep an eye
on the other birds and remember exactly where their parrots are sitting.
The player who collects the most parrots of the same colour in one place wins the most valuable feathers.
Nestled among the parrots are two special birds – a 'good luck' bird
that supplies additional feathers, and a 'bad luck' bird that makes the
players lose feathers if it lands in their chosen spot. The player who
can skilfully manoeuvre the parrots and keep an eye on all the landing spots collects the most feathers and wins the game.
This charming and entertaining game was designed by Portuguese game
author Luís Dinis and features vivid illustrations by Dennis Lohausen.
