Beasty Bar - Down Under

A wild party, a long queue and plenty of chaos – welcome to the legendary Beasty Bar! The fourth edition of this entertaining card game for 2-4 players aged 8 and up is all about sea creatures. In this animal-themed tactical card game, you must try to push your animals to the front of the Beasty Bar, known as "Heaven's Gate". However, the queue is fiercely competitive and only the cleverest sea creatures can make it to the front! If the line is full, the two animals at the front of the queue can make themselves comfortable in the bar, while the animal at the back of the queue is sent home. To avoid this fate, the animals use fishy tricks: The magical manta uses a diversionary manoeuvre, the slender eel squeezes into the smallest of gaps, and the noble swordfish battles for a place in the queue. Whoever gets the most animals into the bar is crowned the winner! The game is also compatible with the other "Beasty Bar" editions – build your own deck of playing cards using any of the 50 animals and create your very own animal-themed extravaganza! Embark on an adventurous journey through the Scottish Highlands! As a resourceful junk dealer, you move from village to village, collecting goods and delivering them to their destination. But your journey is full of challenges, from rough terrain, swamps and rivers to stubborn donkeys. Equipped with your cart and by rationing your supply of feed, you must attempt to overcome the various obstacles you will encounter along the way. At the start of each round, several piles of cards are placed in the middle of the table. Keep an eye on which cards go into which pile, as you will need to draw a card in order to complete your turn. In this game for 2-4 players, you must plan your route carefully, collect junk and fulfil requests in order to gain valuable points. You’ll also need to ration your supply of feed, as using too much could give your opponents the advantage! Who will manage to deliver the most valuable goods and secure the title of best junk dealer? And who will fall by the wayside because they have given their horse too much feed? This entertaining family game by author Carlo A. Rossi requires you to use your cards skilfully and make tactical decisions. Ten pairs of animals have hidden in a large three-dimensional bush. But only a few blobs of colour can be seen through the slits between the branches. Look carefully and find out which colours are not there and thus recognise which animals have made themselves invisible behind the thicket at the very bottom of the bush. New animals retreat into this hiding place in each round of the game. Whoever has found out which animals have just hidden in the thicket quickly grabs their wooden figure! As a reward, everyone who is right gets picture cards from which they can put together their own little zoo.
